Theyâre a great on-the-go way to support your metabolism and stick to the Fast Metabolism plan. The Phase 2 Shake can be used on the two days of Phase 2 on Haylieâs Fast Metabolism Diet. During this phase, we use targeted nutrition to support the bodyâs structure, including building strong bones and laying down muscle. The Fast Metabolism Phase 2 Shake includes alkalizing vegetables like kale, spinach and spirulina, along with l-carnitine, protein and iron. The foods on Phase 2, and in the Phase 2 Shake, are also designed to help the body unlock and metabolize stored fat. If you arenât currently doing The Fast Metabolism Diet, the Phase 2 Shake is great as a pre- or post-workout shake on resistance-training days, with 18 grams of protein and 6 grams of iron. It also contains electrolytes to help replace nutrients lose during exercise. The Fast Metabolism Diet Phase 2 Shake is slightly sweet, with a mild flavor. You can easily customize the flavor by adding cacao (for a chocolate flavor), ground cinnamon, and vanilla or almond extract. You can also add fresh lemon or lime zest or juice for a bright, citrus taste.Directions: Mix 2 level scoops into 8-12 ounces of chilled spring water. Add ice if desired. Blend or shake in a blender bottle until combined.
